Buddha Offering Protection

A gilded copper-alloy statue shows a standing Buddha with a topknot and serene face, right hand raised with palm outward in a gesture of reassurance, left hand lowered at his side holding the robe. The monastic robe falls in close, rippling pleats to bare feet on a black plinth against a plain gray background.
