A woodcut ballad sheet titled 'The Grecian Daughter: A Tale of Real Life' shows a gaunt, chained man reclining on a checkered floor while a woman leans over him, cradling his chest. A barred window, a hanging chain and a door sit behind them, with a brick pillar at right.
