Four scenes with a skeleton: the skeleton directing an astronomer-alchemist, poisoning the drink of lovers, contemplating a flagellant, and taking away a man. Drawings attributed to H.K. Browne [Phiz].
A small pen-and-ink sketch on pale blue paper shows a tall, thin skeletal figure standing at upper right beside a kneeling figure with its head bowed. The rest of the strip is blank, with faint handwritten lettering along the lower edge.
