Job's Despair

An engraving shows a bearded man seated on the ground, arms raised high toward the sky, while two figures crouch and recline beside him. Hills and a cloud-filled sky stretch behind a stone block, and Blake's printed verses from the Book of Job frame the plate in fine black line.
