White marble statue of the Madonna with a veil and flowing mantle, standing on a base of carved clouds against a pale wall.

Madonna

A standing marble figure of the Virgin in a veil and loosely draped mantle, her hands gathering the cloth at her sides. Her head is slightly bowed, and the robes fall in deep, soft folds to a base of carved clouds. The white stone catches the light across the drapery.
