A dense engraved composition filled with crowds of robed figures, many in monastic habits, gathered beneath a canopy of clouds and framed by rectangular cartouches of text. Figures in the upper register hold open books and lift their arms, while the lower foreground shows kneeling and standing groups in fine parallel hatching.
