A pieced square from a crazy quilt, joined from irregular silk, satin, and velvet scraps in dark blues, black, red, green, and striped tones. Embroidered flowers, foliage, and herringbone and feather stitches cover the seams, and a paisley-patterned band runs diagonally across the lower half.
