A pen, ink and wash drawing of a Gothic-style hall with pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and carved medallions. Statues stand on pedestals along the walls, a lantern hangs at right, and a tall ornate iron gate opens at center. The grey wash gives the room a dim, theatrical depth.
