Portada grabada con un hombre barbado, con túnica y gorro forrados de piel, sentado a una mesa junto a cortinas drapeadas, apoyado en libros abiertos y sosteniendo una vara. Lo acompañan un perro, un gallo, una lechuza y una pequeña criatura parecida a un dragón. Un marco ornamental en la parte inferior lleva el título impreso y la fecha 1661.
