A cat born with two heads, engraving after Jacques de Sève
An engraving of a seated creature with a strange, two-faced head, perched on a stone ledge beside an inkwell with a quill, a covered bowl, and a draped curtain. Fine black line work gives the scene a formal, cabinet-print quality typical of 18th-century natural curiosities.
