Ink drawing of five attendants carrying a platform with a horned buffalo on top, with a banner and bamboo at left and buildings at right.

Chinese procession with sacred buffalo, ink drawing

A pen-and-ink drawing shows five robed attendants in a line carrying a large ornate platform on which a horned buffalo stands. A tall banner with bamboo and a small pagoda-like building appear at the right and upper left. Light wash and fine linework define the figures and sketched setting.
