A Crouching, Snarling Tiger

A hanging scroll mounted in pale green and brown silk shows a tiger crouched on rocky ground, its striped body tensed and jaws snarling toward the viewer. Painted in ink and color on silk, the tiger is rendered with soft brown washes and fine brushwork against a plain ochre background.
