A Dancing Pair Accompanied by a Blindfolded Fortune
A blindfolded figure of Fortune sits on a sphere at left, playing a viola beneath a banner inscribed with a verse. At right, a man and woman dance in a wooded landscape beneath a tree, the pen lines softened by gray wash.
Look closer: The date 1693 and a small monogram are written at the bottom of the sheet, under the sphere.
