A Girl and a Man Walking in the Snow

A hanging scroll shows a woman in a patterned robe and a man in a dark kimono walking together through falling snow beneath a large pale umbrella. Bare willow branches and a faint wall frame the figures against a soft ochre ground. Painted in color, ink and gold on silk, the scene is mounted with brocade borders.
