A Luohan and a Demon, Ming Dynasty Hanging Scroll

A white-bearded luohan sits on a rocky outcrop before a pale circular halo, holding a staff, his robes white with blue and red trim. A small horned demon with a fierce face and clenched fists stands at his side, while pine branches hang at the upper left against a dark brown ground.
