A Man and the Devil Filling a Sack with Money and Setting Up a Statue of Hope
An engraving shows a horned, winged devil with a bat-like face and clawed feet standing at left, gripping a figure of a woman on a pedestal as a bearded man in a slashed doublet and wide-brimmed hat leans in to steady her. A round table holds spilled coins, a chest, and a money bag, while a sack of coins lies at right near an hourglass. Dutch and Latin verses appear in the lower margin.
