Three brown ink and wash sketches stacked vertically on paper, showing groups of classical figures in tents and interiors with draped curtains.

Agamemnon Refuses to Liberate Chryseis; Minerva Appears to Achilles; The Abduction of Briseis

Three framed scenes stacked on a sheet of laid paper, drawn in brown ink and wash. The top scene shows a standing commander gesturing before a crowd, the middle a seated woman and a group of men in a tented interior, the bottom a figure pointing amid draped figures and a seated man. Hatching and wash give the drawing a soft, tonal finish.
