Album of Daoist and Buddhist Themes: Procession of Daoist Deities: Lea
A fine ink line drawing on brown paper shows a procession of robed figures walking on a bank of stylized clouds. A large fan-shaped parasol rises above the central figure, while ribbon-like currents of cloud curl across the upper right. The figures carry objects and turn toward one another with restrained, graceful gestures.
Look closer: A small dark bird perches on the edge of the large parasol.
