Amida Buddha
A seated Buddha carved in limestone, eyes lowered and right hand raised in a gesture of teaching, with a lotus throne and a pointed mandorla behind the head. Flanking small hands hold lotus buds and a stupa-like form. Traces of dark staining and worn surface suggest long burial or age.
Look closer: Small seated figure at the top of the halo above the head, with a flanking lotus-bud form at each side.
