Anacreon with the Infants Bacchus and Cupid

A dark bronze statuette shows a draped male figure standing on a round base, holding two nude infants, one on each arm. Deep folds of cloth fall to his feet, and a small curved object rises at the right. The smooth, glossy patina gives the figure a unified sculptural silhouette against a grey backdrop.
