Aphrodite, bronze statuette after Girolamo Campagna
A small dark bronze statuette of a nude female figure standing on a circular base with a shell-like element at her feet. She turns her head slightly downward, one arm raised to her shoulder and the other lowered at her side, with the body in gentle contrapposto. The smooth brown patina catches soft highlights across the modeled form.
