Bronze Backplate for Ornament, Goryeo Period

A small, irregular square of corroded bronze lies against a plain white ground. Its surface is dark green and mottled with patches of verdigris and gold-brown encrustation, and four small holes pierce its corners. The edges are broken and uneven, suggesting a fragment of a larger ornament.
