Battle/ Monument./ Baltimore./ JACKSONS WARRANTED

A monochrome transfer-printed plate shows a tall, obelisk-like monument rising above a street lined with brick buildings, with figures walking near its base. A lush border of roses, peonies and scrolling foliage fills the rim, with a scalloped edge.

Look closer: Small figures walking along the street at the lower left of the monument.
