Pale nude male figure with arms raised, gripping a hanging chain, against a soft lavender and green wash background.

Bell-Tower Keeper

A nude male figure stands in a soft, pale wash of peach, lavender and green, arms raised above his head to grip a hanging chain that runs off the top edge. The loose, sketch-like brushwork and muted palette suggest a painted study on a tall vertical sheet.
