Blue and Green Shell with Head in Gouache
A ribbed, shell-shaped form in blue and green gouache curves across the sheet, with a pale figure's head in profile resting within it and long hair flowing over the edge. Soft white highlights and faint black chalk lines model the forms against the ivory paper, with a monogram in the lower right corner.
