Boats Moored on the Nighttime River

A hanging scroll in ink and color on silk shows a misty river landscape with a reddish-ochre mountain rising at upper left, willow trees and rocky banks in the foreground, and a small distant boat-like form near the water. Soft gray washes fade the far shore into haze under a pale golden ground.
