Bodhidharma Meditating Facing a Cliff

A robed figure sits hunched on a rounded rock at the lower right, facing a pale cliff rising at the right edge. A pine branch reaches across the upper half, and a small attendant kneels at lower left. Soft ink washes on silk suggest mist and rock, with most of the field left empty.

Look closer: A small attendant kneeling at the lower left edge, nearly lost against the rocks.
