Bodhisattva Guanyin
A standing sandstone figure of the bodhisattva Guanyin wears a tall crown, layered jeweled necklaces and a long robe with beaded strands falling down the front. The face is serene and the slender body is slightly turned, with traces of paint and gilding remaining on the surface.
Look closer: Lotus-like pedestal base carved beneath the feet, partly worn away.
