Bowl with Auspicious Ideographs and Floral Motifs
A deep bowl with flaring sides and a short foot, decorated in red and green overglaze enamels on white. A large red character sits in a green-ringed roundel at center, flanked by panels of peaches and chrysanthemum sprays, a motif pattern typical of Ming-period ceramics.
Look closer: Small chip and worn foot rim visible at the base of the bowl.
