Bowl with Peonies
A deep-walled porcelain bowl on a low foot, its yellow ground painted in overglaze enamels with a large pink peony and clusters of blue peonies among green leaves. The bright palette and wide, open form show the decorative richness of the enamelled wares.
Look closer: A small green leaf and enamel petals wrap around the left edge of the bowl near the rim.
