Boy on a water buffalo

On a round silk leaf, a small figure sits astride a dark water buffalo at lower right, arms raised, beside a rising hillside of gnarled pine trees. Faint birds and small distant figures drift across the muted brown ground, rendered in ink wash and soft color.
