Breastplate
A polished steel breastplate shown alone against a plain grey ground. A large eight-pointed star is engraved at the centre of the chest, and three raised horizontal ridges with rivets sit along the waist. The surface shows soft reflections and minor wear, suggesting a practical piece of field armour.
Look closer: Small rivets run along the lower edge of the waist lames and around the shoulder straps.
