Buddhist Monk's Robe (Kesa), Patched Silk Brocade
A rectangular silk brocade panel with a dark ground covered in swirling gold, brown, cream and blue cloud-like motifs, arranged in repeating blocks. Visible seams and differing patterned sections suggest the piece has been pieced together and repaired.
