Brocade silk kesa, patched Buddhist monk's robe
A large tan silk brocade textile woven with a repeating pattern of cloud scrolls and faint dragon-like forms in muted greens and pinks. Darker rectangular patches are stitched across the surface, suggesting repairs to a worn garment, consistent with a patched Buddhist kesa.
