Brush Pot with Episode from Life on Sima Guang
A cylindrical porcelain brush pot painted in underglaze blue with a garden scene. Two figures stand beside a pavilion and screen, while a rockery, flowering shrubs and a banana-like plant fill the left side.
Look closer: A small potted plant sits in the round window panel of the pavilion.
