Buddha Calling the Earth to Witness, Pala-period Bronze
A bronze Buddha sits cross-legged on a lotus base, right hand touching the earth in front of him, before an arched stele. Two smaller seated figures flank him, with stupa-like forms rising behind. The surface is worn, with dark patina and areas of lighter metal.
