Bulb Bowl

A shallow, lobed bowl with a scalloped rim stands on three small feet. The exterior shows a mottled plum-red glaze with pale ridges, while the interior is a soft sky-blue with a glossy finish. The shape and glaze are the focus against a plain dark ground.

Look closer: The foot on the lower right is partly hidden by shadow, and the glaze pools thickly at the base of the lobes.
