Bust of a Scipio

A bronze bust of a smiling child or youth with short curled hair, a band of inscribed lettering around the neck, and drapery over the shoulders. The dark patinated surface catches warm highlights against a plain gray backdrop, and the pedestal is cropped at the bottom.

Look closer: A band of lettering runs around the collar, though the letters are too worn to read.
