Dark green-bronze bust of a man wearing a nemes headdress with ram horns and uraeus, frontal view on a plain background.

Bust of Alexander

A copper-alloy bust shows a male head in frontal view, with a striated nemes headdress framing the face and a small coiled uraeus at the brow. The surface is pitted and patinated in greenish-brown tones, and the bust is cut off at the chest against a plain grey backdrop.

Look closer: A small coiled uraeus cobra rises at the top of the brow, above the headdress band.
