Ceramic Fragment
A curved fragment of glazed earthenware, broken along one upper edge and worn at the corners. Green, ochre and brown glaze runs in horizontal bands across the surface, with crackled, uneven areas and exposed clay where the glaze has flaked away. The pale backdrop isolates the shard's worn, irregular silhouette.
Look closer: Fine crackle pattern in the amber glaze band, visible near the lower center.
