Dark green jade ceremonial blade with three small holes, photographed against a pale gray background.

Ceremonial Blade with Three Perforations (Dao)

A long, tapering blade of dark green nephrite jade lies horizontally against a neutral gray ground. Three small round perforations are spaced evenly along the upper part of the piece, and its lower edge curves gently upward toward the right. The polished surface shows faint scratches and a soft sheen.

Look closer: Faint thin scratches and a small surface mark on the lower-left face of the blade.
