Christ Carrying the Cross, called "The Lord of the Fall"
Christ stands at the center, crowned with thorns, in a dark cloak scattered with gold motifs, a cross beam resting on his shoulder. Two angels in feathered headdresses and white lace skirts flank him, and a small gilded figure of the Virgin sits at the bottom center among flowers and oval medallions.
Look closer: A small gilded figure of the Virgin with a halo sits among flowers at the base of the composition.
