Cornu (reproduction)
A long, coiled black horn with a narrow tube that loops around in a wide open curve and ends in a flared bell at the upper end. The instrument lies alone on a plain white ground, shown from above with even light and no shadows. Its dark finish and smooth tube make the coiled form stand out clearly.
Look closer: A small fitting or joint on the straight section near the mouthpiece end.
