Covered Jar

A small porcelain jar with a rounded body and wide mouth, decorated in red, green and yellow enamels over blue underglaze. Figures stand, sit and walk among pine boughs and scrolling flower forms, with a seated elder in yellow at right.

Look closer: A band of blue scrollwork runs around the rim, framing the mouth of the jar.
