Bronze crossbow support inlaid with silver, its curved hooked head ending in a bird-like beak against a dark background.

Crossbow Support

A curved bronze object with a hooked head ending in a bird-like beak, set on a dark ground. Its surfaces are inlaid with silver in spirals, scrolling bands and interlocking curves, with green patina around the edges. The shaped plate on the right bears coiled spiral motifs, and the long arm is patterned with diamond shapes.

Look closer: A small inlaid spiral and a red-brown inlay appear on the plate near the center of the head section.
