Cupid and Psyche

A white marble sculpture shows a winged figure leaning over and embracing a seated female nude who perches on a rough, unfinished rock base. The wings rise behind the pair, and the smooth carved bodies contrast with the rough stone beneath them.

Look closer: A small leaf-like rough patch of stone and a tree-like support rising at the right edge behind the figures.
