Cylindrical Container with Cover (Lian)
A cylindrical gilt bronze container with a domed, pierced cover topped by a knob, its body divided into three bands of openwork scrolling vine and foliage. Three lion-paw feet support the vessel, and the gilding has worn to reveal darker metal in places.
Look closer: Small lion-paw feet at the base hold up the vessel.
