Cylindrical lead-glazed Han jar with molded relief of figures and foliage on three short feet.

Cylindrical Jar

A cylindrical jar with a green-brown lead glaze, its walls covered in molded relief of figures, animals and stylized foliage. Three small clawed feet support the vessel, and the glaze pools in the recesses of the relief.

Look closer: A small figure seated at the lower center of the relief, partly hidden in the glaze.
