Plate VI: Intestinal worms and related organisms, from Bloch's 1782 treatise
An engraved plate numbered Tab. VI with twelve labelled figures of intestinal worms and parts of them, drawn in fine black line on white paper. Segmented worm bodies run diagonally and horizontally, while smaller cropped studies show a head with hooks and a rounded sac-like form. The layout is a systematic scientific diagram typical of eighteenth-century natural history.
