The Annunciation to the Shepherds

A dark nocturnal landscape with a winged angel in a glowing light at the right, beside a wooden shed, facing a kneeling shepherd in red who gestures toward the sky. Cattle, sheep and a recumbent ox rest in the shadowed foreground, lit by a faint haze of light.
